Before you connect
Please make sure the SKUs on Palmetrics exactly match the SKUs on Shopify, otherwise Palmetrics will consider them different products.
What happens after you connect
At the moment, these features are available (in early access):
- Products created on Shopify are pulled into and visible on Palmetrics.
- If a product with the same SKU already exists on Palmetrics, it will be updated with the Shopify data instead of creating a new product.
- Updating some fields on Palmetrics will push to Shopify:
- changing the Shopify-specific price on Palmetrics will push to Shopify
In upcoming updates (to early access), these added features will become available:
- Orders created on Shopify will be pulled into and visible on Palmetrics
- Stock levels will sync between all integrations

To connect Palmetrics to Shopify, you’ll need to create a custom app on Shopify. Before you can create a custom app for your store, you need to activate custom app development. You need to be the store owner or a staff member with the Enable app development permission to activate custom app development.
Steps:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.
- Click Develop apps.
- Click Allow custom app development.
- Read the warning and information provided, and then click Allow custom app development.
